The PHX BrewParty is an annual community party held in Downtown Phoenix that celebrates the art and creativity of home-brewed beer. With surprisingly good beer and a brilliant community spirit, the PHX BrewParty has quickly become a highly anticipated event in Downtown Phoenix & beyond.
We look forward to having you join us for this year's party - which, as always, looks to be even better than the last.
The PHX BrewParty was birthed three years ago to foster community around the art of brewing beer. Local brewers are invited to bring their best home-brewed beers to share in hopes of taking home one of the coveted awards. Local DJ's will be on hand, classic beer movies will play, and lawn competitions will go down - all in the front yard of a historic Phoenix Bungalow. The event is free, but donations to communitasPHX, a downtown PHX non-profit promoting spirituality, community, justice, and creativity, are encouraged.

For a number of us living in downtown Phoenix, creativity is not an option - we must live imaginatively and we must "create" often.
For us, brewing beer has become an art form - a way in which we can give birth to something. The nuances of flavor, aroma, and style are endless and when we brew, we have the ability to shape a beer that's never before been imagined.
The best part of brewing our own beer is being able to share it with friends and neighbors. There's something special about sharing our brews, getting feedback, and seeing people enjoy the beer. Taking this a step further, we wanted to share our homebrew beyond our group of friends, we wanted to share it with the city.
And the PHX BrewParty was born.
The PHX BrewParty is a community-focused, family-friendly, annual event that takes place in the front yard of a historic bungalow in Downtown Phoenix. It's in the "front yard" on purpose - a symbol of an inclusive event where all welcome. With help of local DJ's, some amazing brewers, and a host of friends & neighbors who help pull it off, the PHX Brew Party has become a highly anticipated evening of community, great brews, great music, and a lot of fun.
The PHX BrewParty is a FREE event - meaning that it costs you NOTHING. Feel free to enjoy the party to it's fullest without feeling any need to give a dollar. The party hosts, the brewers, and the DJ's have all invested time and money in making the BrewParty a great time, but they've also given of themselves to help the efforts and initiatives of communitasPHX.
We hope you will too.
